Luis is an Investment Manager at Fourth Level Ventures Limited (“4LV”). He brings over six years transaction experience to the 4LV team and has specialised skills in the areas of wind, solar, and tidal energy. Previous mandates include Airtricty (Now SSE Renewables), Gaelectric, Openhydro and more recently Mainstream Renewable Power. He also brings fund management experience having previously managed Dolmen’s 2002 Business Expansion Scheme (BES) Fund.
Before joining 4LV in 2009, Luis worked at Dolmen Corporate Finance Ltd (“DCF”), which inter alia provides fundraising and advisory services to leading renewable energy, property and technology companies in Ireland and abroad.
Prior to joining Dolmen, Luis travelled to Sierra Leon in Western Africa where he conducted a study of small-scale enterprises sponsored by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs. In addition, Luis has participated in the management and administration of a family owned business in Barcelona gaining broad experience and specialised skills in manufacturing.
Having graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2001 with a BA Honours degree in European Economics, Luis subsequently went on to complete a Masters degree in Development Studies at University College Dublin
